Hi. I am an incoming freshman in college and i am thinking to take the DAT later on in 2 years. in the beginning of junior year.
would it be a good idea to start studying for the DAT in my first year?
if yes, how should i go about doing so? should i study all science textbooks (assigned from classes)?
what is the best way to study for PAT?

I am very worried about the exam... its a little to early to worry, i know.

Your advice is very much appreciated and thanks in advance 🙂

Do well in your classes, and study with the intention of keeping everything in your long-term memory. Keep a composition book for your science classes keeping condensed principles/reactions. It couldnt hurt to buy a kaplan blue book or AP Bio, and read every semester the chapters that correspond to your current science classes.

Also get used to doing mental math in all of your classes.

I would plan to take the DAT asap after completing your 2nd semester of Ochem, so plan your classes accordingly.

And calm down, you haven't even started college yet. Join a pre-dental club, stay off SDN for a while, and focus on doing well in your classes.
