On average for your first run through the material, how many powerpoint slides can you usually study in an hour?

This is highly material and professor dependent... in fact it's so dependent on those factors that the answers you will get here are essentially meaningless.
 
Depends. The mathematical formula is as follows: slides/hour = 60/(Days till exam + 1). This formula breaks down right after an exam however. In that case, slides/hour rapidly approaches 0. This is due to the reciprocal nature of YouTube activity approaching infinity.
