Studying too slow. How can I pick up the pace?

i'd appreciate any input. i'm trying to keep to a schedule but it just takes me way too long to get through stuff. i've gone through FA once already (which took forever) and now going through it a second time i thought it would go quicker but it literally takes me 2 hrs to get through 10 pages. also, for qworld, it will take me 4 hours to get through all the answers of a 48 q block. i read some of the schedules that people have posted and i just don't know how you all get through q's and FA so quickly.

i have 3 weeks left til the test and my plan is 96 q's per day plus FA (with some goljan RR in there too). any ideas.

wow i was gonna start a SAME exact thread....i really cant speed up my studying...im being so inefficient...no lie when i say this but it takes me like 1 hour to do 2-3 pages of FA...my exam is in 7 days:idea:😕😱😡:scared::xf:🙁🙂

ok, a more focused question then: for those who are able to answer and review 96 q's in 4 hours (qworld), how are you able to do this? just read the correct answers and learning objective? at best i can get through the full answer including incorrect answer choices in 3 mins (3mins X 96 = way too long)

that does seem like a long time on uworld. my suggestion would be to first read the objective at the bottom of the answer explanations, if that makes sense then just read why the answers that you struggled between are wrong. if you feel good after that then move on, you don't have to read the long explanation for every question - once you've seen your 10th CF mutation question then you probably get the picture. it does get easy to study faster after you've gone thru everything once

Grammatically, it is supposed to be "Studying too slowLY."

As for help with step I, take a full comprehensive and make sure to identify and study your weakest areas first. Thus, if you do ruin out of time, you will have spent your time most efficiently. Which should translate into the highest possible score for the time allotted.

It was the first result in a search for "inferiority complex" -- which is the first thing I thought of when seeing you trying to put down others, your response to criticism, and the exaggerated smileys which are so obviously trying to project a false sense of self confidence.

...in response to the original post, I think you can see that the best advice really is to "get off SDN". And with UW, I'd say try tutor mode + focus on the "learning objectives" to save on time. Pick a choice, read the learning objective, get the main concept, then move on.

We are preparing for the US MLE. I was providing the poster with helpful criticism so that he could correct his errors before the examination.
