I'm sure this has been asked before, but searches only yielded good info from 2006... and I'm guessing the test has changed a bit since then

Anyway, what are considered the "high" and "low" yield subjects for Step I? I thought I had it down pat, but then I was told behavioral science is super important. That caught me off guard, so now I'm wondering about the other subjects

i doubt the order has changed much in the last five years. behavioral sci is important because, frankly, everything is important if you want to do well. you really can't have too many holes in your knowledge.

path > phys > biochem > pharm ~ micro/immuno ~ neuro/psych ~ BS > anatomy > histo > embryo

would be my list, but after the first three i bet it comes down to whatever the individual questions are on test day.

Path/Physio of course...ton of pharm (seemed like every 7th or 8th question), neuroanatomy, micro on my test. Don't let anyone fool you into thinking 1st year material is unimportant...
