Hey guys
I took the mcat today for the first time. Needless to say, I couldnt fall asleep last night even after taking simply sleep :( So I have no idea how it went. I ran out of time on PS and had to completely guess on an entire passage. I felt good about VR and BS but I was so out of it what if I made bubbling errors.
Anyways, I was scoring 33, 35, 36, 37 on practice tests. I am unsure now if I should go ahead and submit, or wait for the scores bc I don't want to embarass myself. Anyways what should I do? Did anyone else not sleep before MCAT and still do decent?
Well let me know and thanks for any help i appreciate it:)

Congratulations on being done today! I'm sure you did better than you think ( I thought I did horrible after it and it turned out okay). So you're applying for the 2007 cycle? If you already have your Personal Statement done and are waiting to submit, don't. Just hold off anyway becuase many schools won't even consider you for a secondary (and definitely not an interview) without seeing your MCAT scores. So I'd hold off, have everything prepared on AMCAS, and know which schools you'll apply to depending on your score. Then when it comes in, go ahead and submit. Relax tonight, you deserve it.

I took the MCAT today as well, and I've already submitted my AMCAS (+ I'm verified) so starting tomorrow I'm going to work on all my secondaries. I'd suggest to submit ASAP, and then withdraw without doing secondaries if your score comes out crappy.

Yeah, go with that. Wasn't sure if you could be verified w/out scores. But because you can, it's worth the extra 30 dollars per school to get the leg up on the other august MCATers.

DEFINITELY submit as soon as you can. Med schools won't look at your application until your scores are in, but it's worth getting your transcript and PS taken care of.

if you are still planning on applying for this cycle sumbit your AMCAS as soo as you can. This way you can have all of your secondaries complete except for having your MCAT scores. When the scores are released your file will be complete and ready for review.
