Submit primary w/out Shadowing? Or wait?

Hi! Seeing as its already the end of August, should I wait to do my shadowing (which will be done probably within the next 2 weeks) so that I can include it in the Work/Activities section? Or should I apply this week and not include the shadowing? I do have clinical volunteer, just no shadowing experience.

i hear lots of people get in without shadowing. i submitted my primary about a month before i did my first shadowing and then talked about it in my secondaries. personally i would submit that thing asap because you're already kind of late.

i dont have any shadowing on my primary and likely will not have any on my secondaries. i'm in contact with some physicians who i hope to shadow, and if it works out i'll look into sending schools update letters in a month or two
