Hey everyone,

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, I figured that it would be answered easier here. I applied to Temple's medical school this year, but I'm also applying to the post-bacc program. I was wondering if it would be a bad thing to use the same essays on the post-bacc application that I used on the secondary? I wouldn't copy and paste, but they would have the same theme and I'm sure I can expand on it a little bit further. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Unfortunately this probably is the wrong forum for your question. Nonetheless I understand the frustration in getting questions answered in the postbacc forum in a timely manner, which is only exacerbated by the mods' bizarre unwillingness to move anything from pre-allo to the postbacc forum. ANYWAY, many people here will know little if anything about Temple's postbacc. I can tell you that there is a lot of staff overlap between the med school and the postbacc program. So no, I wouldn't try it.

Second Zeds post above. If the essays didnt work for you before why would you want to try them again? Even if the essays werent a problem for when you applied to Temples med school the post-bacc program gives you a second chance to do the essays and another chance to impress. Take advantage of it. Temple's post-bacc program is uber competitive; youll need to be at your best. The vast majority of people's essays could always be improved, often even to significant extents. Again, take advantage of the chance to do that here.
