Hi there,

I was just wondering about submitting writing samples for applications to PhD programs in Clinical Psychology. I was thinking about submitting my undergraduate thesis (39 pages) as I was told it was very well written but my readers. However, it is super lengthy and I have actually published a literature review (1st author but there are three other authors). Should I submit this publication instead even though it is not completely my writing? Any advice would be great!
Thanks!

I would submit the published piece over the honors thesis. Most publications don't have just one author, and even with an honors thesis most professors will assume that it has been edited by multiple people.
