Not sure if this has been posted before but does it hurt if you have additional letters from current employers, etc. to send letters of recs to schools now, even though it is past the deadline? These letters would be sent in additional to the committee packet which was sent way before the deadline.

So my question is, would this only help you? Is it possible schools will get annoyed if you have an additional letter sent? After getting 50% rejection letters and no acceptances thus far, I'm thinking I should have an additional LOR sent out.

Thoughts?

i certainly cant hurt, i dont know how much it will help though.

my advice, send it :)

I send the extras. It's not going to hurt at all, and will probably show that you have continued interest. I sent in a late one to all the schools I applied to. I'm not sure it's made a difference really, but all the schools accepted it without a problem.
