Submitting application prior to taking the DAT?

I have my DAT scheduled for the end of July, but my application is ready otherwise. Is it possible to submit the application on the first possible day before I even take the DAT?

Yes, there is no harm in submitting before. However, schools for the most part won’t make a decision on your application until they receive your official scores. I would just recommend submitting when you can (submitting early can only help), but I wouldn’t expect to hear a decision from any school until your scores are in. Hope that makes sense.
