Submitting Application without 1 of my letters

Hi everyone!
I’m applying this coming cycle and I’m trying to get everything in order. I am aiming to get everything submitted early June, except one of my letters of rec will not be ready until early July. I am planning a trip for early July as well and I wanted to know: if I submitted my application without that 1 letter of rec, would schools send me their secondaries, or will they only send them once my application is complete with the final letter of rec? Also, is there anything I’m forgetting about that might screw me over by planning a trip early July? Thank you for all your help!

First most schools have secondaries on AADSAS. For me only penn and Harvard had separate secondary
Secondly, no (for those that have separate application). You’ll need to have full application. However, here might be an exception as I think Midwestern offered someone an interview without all his or her stuff in.

Thank you for replying! Just to make sure I understand, you’re saying that in general I will not be able to fill out the secondary applications until the last letter of rec is submitted. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

Most Secondary applications will be on AADSAS so you’ll be able to do them before you have all rec’s

Some schools will send you 2ndaries without any of your letters. But most schools' 2ndaries are on AADSAS when you fill out your primaries. However, you application wont be seen as complete and under review until EVERYTHING is in...so schools won't officially extend an invite for interview until your last letter is in.

If I remember right, i filled out quite a few of my 2ndaries without any of my letters in. I know Minnesota is separate...so are UPENN, UAB, and Texas schools. and by separate I mean it wasn't on AADSAS when you fill out primaries. most of the time it's on the schools' websites or the school will mail it to you.
