I currently have a 3.95 and am in the last semester of my senior year. My semester ends May 21st and my school sends out e-transcripts through ClearingHouse. Even with a 4.0 this semester, my GPA will not increase and will stay a 3.95. However, with a B (I'm taking a required Literature course this semester and I'm not very good at Lit so I'm assuming the worst-case scenario), it can drop to a 3.91. My semester ends May 21st, and most likely grades will all be submitted by May 28th.
1. Should I send in a request to submit my transcript May 1st, the first day in which we can open the primary application?
2. Does it look shady if spring grades are not included on your transcript?
3. Do schools prefer updates on your spring grades pre-II?
4. Can I just request to submit my transcript May 1st and then if everything turns out okay, request my school to submit the transcript again?
5. Wait until spring grades or request transcript May 1st?
Yes, I am very aware this sounds extremely neurotic but this semester can potentially salvage my upward trend.
