This is a little early. It seems housing at the Bay area or NYC would be pretty tough. Does anyone know if any of the programs in those areas offer subsidized housing?

Not for visiting medical students (in Bay Area), but yes for residents. Which one are you referring to?
UCSF? I heard Stanford maybe does that, but not sure either. And yes, I was asking about residency. Thanks!

UCSF does have resident subsidized housing in their new(ish) Mission Bay campus. However, availability is tight and there is a waiting list . . . apply as early as possible. UCSF also provides a housing stipend to all of their residents and UCSF Rad Onc provides an additional supplement. These apartments may also be used by faculty and they will receive priority in placement over residents.
