Concerned. Have African American AMG husband with not very good credentials in match. Understand that "supply and demand" influence program residency choices with regard to AMGs vs. IMGs. Is there a similar force operating with regard to African American AMGs. How do they tend to fare in the Match. Preference due to small numbers? No Preference? Depends on Program? Depends on Specialty? No Idea? Confused about all the subtle aspects of the match process.

no racial preference in the match. In fact, race aids I believe (well that's prohibitive too...it's a long story). Anyway, shouldn't have a problem matching depending on specialty and desire, etc.

the only tried and true rule of medicine anymore is that WOMEN GET FAR REDUCED COMPENSATION COMPARED TO MEN...
unfair...but true...
