I've applied to: Western Pomona, both Midwesterns, Pacific Northwest, Campbell, DMU, PCOM, Touro NV, VECOM, and Marian.

I feel that VECOM and Campbell don't have enough varied demographics to justify them accepting me there. I'd like to apply to schools where being an URM would be advantageous in regards to there being a large population where my Spanish speaking ability could be fully utilized.

About me: Hispanic, fully bilingual in Spanish and English ( been speaking both for 23 years), sgpa 3.68, overall gpa 3.54, MCAT 27 9/7/11 and average EC's, letters, etc.

So I'm a pretty average applicant, slightly underdog, but are there any schools that I missed where I could have a better shot at matriculation?

What about the Puerto Rico MD schools? They are US schools, not Caribbean.

I thought about Puerto Rico...but I don't want to learn in Spanish.

fair enough, just saying that you'd probably have a very good chance at getting in there. but certainly don't go there if you don't want that.

Try allopathic schools also. Unless you really want to be a do I think you have a shot at some allopathic schools also.

Unfortunately, I can't afford to apply to allopathic schools. I could barely afford to apply to DO schools as is, and I'm currently waiting between pay periods to submit my secondaries. I actually really like the DO philosophy and would rather be a DO even though the tuition is considerably more expensive.

I'm considering applying to LECOM and AT Still in Arizona. Suggestions?
