NFL suicide pool-

Rules: You have to pick an NFL team to win (straight-up only, no point-spread) you can’t pick the same team twice meaning that if you pick indianapolis on week 1 than you cannot pick them for the rest of the year. You win and you move on to next week, you lose and there’s always next year! It doesn’t get any simpler than that.

Oakland Raiders are my first pick

Def the Stillers.

True, it is a homer pick, but it's early in the season, I have no idea how good people will be, yet I do know that the **** stains have no chance. I think the best course towards victory is just guess whoever plays the Browns or the Cardinals.

Now that I've said that, just watch, Browns v. Cardinals in the Super Bowl......

Everyone's picking steelers 1st week. Wow.

Everyone's picking steelers 1st week. Wow.

No, no. Everyone is picking against the Browns. I'll pick whoever plays Cleveland next week, too. It's the one hole in your seemingly brilliant game rules scheme. Sure, I can't consistently pick a really good team, then ride it out....but I sure as hell can pick against a team that sucks and ride it out!

Quoted for truth.

Finally, a thread I am really interested in.

Detroit Lions over the Raiders...

The two worse teams from last year.

Somebody has to win. Raiders have a great defense but can not score until Culpepper gets going later in the year. Detroit has some skill players and should outscore the Raiders.

Hopefully, this strategy will keep me around for the better teams later on.

I'm a Jets fan. But I think the Bears will be good this year and they're a fun team to watch... Gotta be gutsy. ;]

I know it's last minute but I'll take Dallas tonight.

Good job to the ppl who won today. I was thinking that if there were any late stragglers that did not play this week but want to hop in next week they can do so but with one stipulation, You have to pick 2 teams and they both have to win. At the end of week two there will be no more new entries.

Everyone who picked the Steelers have moved into the next round:

Sure I was smart enough to pick Dallas over NYG but not smart enough to start Tony Romo on my fantasy football team. 42 points later. . .😡

Ignore this link, this is the site I copy and paste the schedule from.

Bengals looks like the pick but the largest spread this week is Jacksonville who is a 10.5 favorite against the Falcons.

And, again, I chose to go with the team playing Cleveland......Cincinnati.

The Bears look like a good pick, too. If you didn't pick the Stillers last week, this is another good week to pick them.

Cream picks Da Bears !!!
I am going against the popular pick this week which is the Bengals.

Thanks for the "pick against the Browns" strategy WVU! Luckily I had Carson Palmer in my fantasy league.
