UW states "absence of sulcus enlargement can be helpful in differentiating between NPH and atrophy"
Sorry, I did not get it. Suclus enlargement occurs in NPH or atrophy?! Why?

sulcus enlargement occurs in atrophy but not NPH. in atrophy, the gyri atrophy to be redundant. in NPH the ventricles which are deeper and contain CSF seemingly enlarge.
