a simple question, which would you choose?
A) summer research fellowship at mayo or NYU etc. these are well known programs, adcoms know about what sorts of things i'll be doing, possibly some shadowing too
B) summer classes to boost GPA (will be applying this summer though, summer grades come out a bit after the start of amcas being accepted, would probably rather update after having it submitted as early as possible)... interning at cardiovascular surgery research lab in NYC, independent, no set program, through connections ive made myself through other research ventures. obviously lots of shadowing etc.
i like research (and have a lot), i have no clinical exposure or volunteering hours. which would be my best choice, i am unbiased as of now, but of course A is only i am offered the fellowships, but i have a good chance of that.
