I'm still in my first semester at Community College, and I was at a college fair recently. I was talking to the representative from Temple University, and I was told that Dental Schools don't like it if you take your science and math pre-reqs in the Summer semesters. I started Community College with Intermediate Algebra for my math course (Yes I know, that's pretty bad). With my math course being so low, I wasn't able to start taking any of my sciences my first semester at CC, as a result I was interested in taking some sciences in the summer to get caught up. So, I'll get to my question, If I have a 3.6-4.0 for my science GPA and overall GPA, higher end DATs, and great LOR's, would it matter that I took some of my sciences in the summer SOLELY to get caught up? (speaking admission wise)
I know Dental schools think that students take Sciences at community colleges while attending 4yr universities to get an easy course, this is not the reason I am doing it.
