Summer Preceptorships/shadowing programs

HI. I am looking for info on summer programs for pre-clinical med students. They can be shadowing experiences or rural med programs

, or even rotations through different specialties. If anyone has done any of these in the past I would appreciate feedback. THANKS!

I didnt use any "programs." I just went to a physician who specialized in a field that I am extrememly interested in and asked if he would mind me tagging along, as I wanted to get a feel for the life of a physician. By the time I was done, he let me scub in on nearly 45 surgeries...
