Summer Research before medical school

I know a lot of people take the summer off to rest and such. But I was gonna try and get involved in some research (hopefully clinical not bench)...What are the odds of getting paid? Will the labs usually pay? or are there other ways of getting money to work?

If you're looking for a 2-3 month clinical research hitch, chances are you're going to get paid in a sense of satisfaction at the end of the day, not money.

Check your med school. The local one here pays 3000 for the summer.
