Accepted (going to) - NIH SIP
Accepted (withdrew) - Einstein SURP, MIT Amgen, Columbia Amgen, Cornell Travelers
Rejected - Princeton (didn't really qualify), Cold Spring Harbor URP (very likely, didn't hear anything back), Steamboat Scholars, Columbia REU
Looks like some people got some great acceptances

Must have been rejected from Einstein SURP then.
I emailed about Cold Spring Harbor in early Feb and I got rejected. It was picking 25/900 I think it was. Absolutely ridiculous.

isnt on-campus housing usually free in these programs?
and aren't stipends usually like $2,000-$4,000?
Yes and yes! It's definitely an incredible way to spend your summer, whether you are interested in pursuing a MD or PhD.
I'm going to do the Hopkins Pulmonary/Critical Care SIP. Anyone else joining me in Baltimore this summer?

children's national medical center-dc, clinical emergency medicine research internship 😀
UIowa Immunology for me this summer. Did Mayo's SURF program last summer, it was an amazing experience. 👍
Has anyone heard from NYU HJD Musculoskeletal Summer Research Program? They were supposed to email all applicants by 4/15 but I haven't gotten anything yet...
I emailed them last week..they said the selection committee would meet in the middle of this week. They didn't meet earlier because of grant deadlines or whatever. Soo i guess we'll be hearing next week
Waiting on a response from the decision committee at University of Toronto - UTEA.
NIH SIP (NIEHS, bioinformatics) - Applied 28 Feb, Application Complete 13 March, Accepted 16 April. (Email)
I got an email from the PI followed about a day later by email from the coordinator. I didn't apply to any programs outside the NIH. I was getting pretty concerned until I got my acceptance this week!
I emailed a few researchers, and also one contacted me after searching the database. The internship I got was one of the researchers I contacted, though.
Start sending mails to PIs as soon as your application is complete... I got a lot of "sorry, we already picked our summer student" mails from people who would have been some of my top choices. I did get my 3rd choice lab, though, so it worked out okay in the end.
