Summer review for fall classes

I am taking two uppder division biologies and a chem in the fall. Would it help to review or read anything on them over the summer? I am going to have free time doing nothing anyway. I have heard not to but can it hurt?

Do some shadowing and volunteer at habitat for humanity and buy an MCAT prep book if you already don't have one.

It certainly won't hurt you, but there are probably better uses of your time. Do something productive, but fun. Dilzmega had some good suggestions. Don't forget to relax a bit this summer!
