hey all,
i was just wondering if you all got the health forms to fill out and stuff. did you all do it. also did you all take the cpr course yet?

anyone have have any new news as to how the list is moving, how long it is, and stuff like that.

You aren't the only one. I just got my forms in the mail today. I'm not sure if this is just their way of making us all feel better, as their admissions process seems to be the most secretive.

I hope that I can get some extra consideration since I don't need their finaid (I doubt it though)

I am already accepted...best of luck to you all...
took the cpr course and mailed ina copy of my card to admissions....

on teh finaid issue...i wouldnt think it would help since most schools will give you if you cant afford it

didn't they tell u to give it to them by july 1st??

also, i called them and they said that they dont take people off the list if you dont have it in by july 1st.

did u do the cpr course yet.

the earliest one i could find was in late july😡

Well, I got my forms the day before the deadline. I gave then a call, and was told that the deadline does not apply to the alternates. I was given the vague "you have more time" response

I did not take the cpr course. Even though I really want to go to downstate, I don't want to waste time on them if they have no intention of accepting them. I will try to get in touch with someone at the ooa this week to see where I stand

My letter says that we have until August 1st to take the CPR course?? Is mine the only one? I am taking it in the next two weeks so I hope this is correct!

I'm taking the cpr course in about two weeks also....they gave me a text book in advance. For those that took the class already, are we supposed to study the book in detail before the class? I heard the exam is right after the class.

we have until aug 1st to take the cpr course and until july 1st to get our health forms in. but the july 1st deadline dosn't really apply to us. i called them and they said that its really is NOT a deadline. nothing happens if u get them in after july 1st.

I sincerely don't understant why they insist on being so secretive and conceited. Heck, they aren't even on the top 50 list🙄

Just got the call, they pulled me from the waitlist. So it looks like there is still some movement at this point.
