Which SUNY are you talking about? There are residents around this forum from two of the SUNY EM programs that I know of.

Actually, there are 4 - SUNY- Buffalo, SUNY - Stony Brook, SUNY - Upstate, and SUNY - Downstate.

Upstate is in Syracuse. That is the one of which the OP is enquiring. Downstate is in Brooklyn.
