Supplemental Application and Materials?

On PTCAS, when you look at the program profile of schools, there is a section where it tells whether supplemental applications or supplemental materials are required for that school. What are they and what are the difference between the two?

Supplemental applications are another application in addition to PTCAS that some schools will have you fill out . Supplemental materials are extra forms/essay/application (any of these) that a school will have you fill out in addition to PTCAS. You'll have to make sure for each school you're applying to, if they have either, you fill them out. Hope that helps!

For supplemental applications, do I fill them out on the school's website? Like, would I have to create an account and fill out applications and stuff, or is it also through PTCAS? Is there anywhere on PTCAS I can see what materials are needed to be filled out? Are the materials things like school specific questions? Or are they like hard copy materials that need to be sent directly to the school?

You'll need to check that schools DPT website. Sometimes it could be any of the above. You can also check their PTCAS profile page. Supplemental essay questions can appear on PTCAS or some schools will have you create a profile on their website and fill stuff out just depends. Its school specific

Very important stuff that the program has customized into the PTCAS application. Pay close attention to it.
