Hello everyone,
So I'm applying this cycle (i.e. have been interviewing, and getting waitlisted at a whole bunch of schools) and I wanted to find out if it would be at all appropriate to send them a supplemental recommendation from someone I worked with over the summer volunteering internationally. I did not get them to write a recommendation for my applications because I went abroad AFTER I submitted my AMCAS, etc.--how do I go about sending this letter of recommendation to schools? Would they accept it? My international experience was really important to learning about myself, why I want to be a doctor, etc. and I worked with a couple of doctors while abroad, one of which I was planning to ask for the recommendation. Should I have him e-mail it directly to the schools I am waitlisted at?
Thanks!
Brian

Yes submit it.
Email it directly and submit it to AMCAS to CYA.

I would send it directly as well. It can only help you.
