I decided to make this thread in support for those who are thinking about giving up on Pharmacy, need high scores, etc. Because I see a lot of threads with those scoring 90+ percentile and I know how disheartening that is for those with below at 60 percentile. Trust me, I use to look @ those threads and cry..wishing I was in their shoes.
Let me, first start off with, DON'T GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS!! I don't know if I will get accepted yet..but I just wanted to offer those thinking about giving up due to low pcat scores..
As for me, I took my first PCAT ever in June this summer and I received the most disheartening score (xx<50). I cried for almost a week because I wanted to do pharmacy since forever.. and I know I am intelligent, social-able and caring person..just my score was not showing that. I wanted to give up, but after I picked myself up and told myself, this is what I want to do then I need to keep going and be strong.
I just received my August PCAT score and its a 83% 🙂
This is like a dream come true, I was just hoping for a 70%. Never in a million years..would I have thought I got that score on the PCAT.
I thought I wanted to give support & hope to those struggling.
Hang in there and believe in yourself!! If this is REALLY what u want to do, then in the end, it will all work out.
Good luck to you all!
