I know this question probably has a 1000 different answers...but I'm going to ask anyway. What's the typical split between clinic time vs. surgery as a basic, community OB/Gyn. 80:20? 90:10? Thanks!

I would say to expect one OR day, one day on L&D, and 3 clinic days in a "typical" practice.

Clinic days may include some admin time, and you can do a ton of outpatient procedures in the office (ie, Essure, Novasure, office hysteroscopy, cystoscopy, LEEP, colpo, etc...)

Certainly not universal, but a fair estimate of "average", assuming reasonable volume, shared call, and a good balance of ob/gyn.
