I heard some schools ask to write an essay during the interview without letting you know before hand. What are those schools??
I heard buffalo, Loma linda and case? where else? Is Columbia or U Penn one of them?

I've heard that UCSF and USC also have written essays during interviews.

Temple has a writing sample. Not an essay, but still pen to paper just to see if you can put a coherent thought together and don't write like a 3rd grader.

Whom, sometimes, they suspect to be the true author of the ps.

Temple and Pitt have writing samples on a simple ethical topic or basic opinion. It's always fun to see some international people sweat during those.

Penn has writing essays that you submit with the rest of your secondary application.
