This positive patient attitude will go very far when it comes to making it through prelim. I would think another thing to do is to approach this year as a way of getting ready for radiology. If you want to read only B&H, that's fine but not very high yield. More important, make the clinical connections between the choice of imaging study and what you see in clinic, the indications, and try to look up the imaging studies your patients have had done. Use these to practice and develop your radiologic skills while creating a good reason to be further involved in the care of your patients. By the end of the year both your clinical skill set/knowledge and your radiology skills sets/knowledge will be much improved. Good luck!
