Hey everyone, I am an FMG participating in the match this year. So far it has been very tough to secure prelim interviews and I'm very worried about matching advanced but not prelim. The thing is I have an almost guaranteed backup speciality and I don't want to lose everything just because I couldn't get into a prelim. Some people say that GS-prelim should be guaranteed because it always goes unfilled, is this true? How realistic are my chances to soap into a prelim position, keeping in mind that I'm an FMG that requires visa?
