Technology Tablet PC required @ KU

At my interview, the Deans came in and were talking about what's up, etc. for the coming year(s) and sd, a tablet wld be required for 2006 entering class. Anybody know what they are like, firsthand? Which ones work well?
What are limitations?

Curious, about whether any current students are using them for notes. ?

Will you be attending KUSOM next year? We would be in the same class.

They said the same thing at my interview, and I think that I'll purchase a tablet pc in late spring/early summer. There are some great websites that give product reviews - just perform a search like the last poster advised.
