If I'm a PGY-1 making $3400 month. How much of that will be net pay? Whats my bring home $? Thanks 😕

I make gross about 1600 per 2 weeks. I see 1400. But I own a house and have a kid. I really depends on how many deductions.

So if you're making ~$40K a year, the first $7.3K is taxed at 10%, up to $29.7K at 15.0%, and above that to $71.9K is taxed at 25.0%.

Depends on location, # of dependents, etc. Once all my fed and state taxes, and my health and dental insurance options are taken out, I see $2550 of my $3400/mo salary.
