Tax rates are available here:

http://taxguru.org/incometax/Rates/1040-05.htm

So if you're making ~$40K a year, the first $7.3K is taxed at 10%, up to $29.7K at 15.0%, and above that to $71.9K is taxed at 25.0%.

Cheers

Depends on location, # of dependents, etc. Once all my fed and state taxes, and my health and dental insurance options are taken out, I see $2550 of my $3400/mo salary.

I have a wife and 2 children, so I guess that will affect my monthly pay. I'll be in Virginia. Appreciate all the quick repsonses. Merry Christmas! 🙂
