Take the DAT in June 16th

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
To put it in perspective, I took my DAT July 29th.

What were your stats and did you receive a handful of interviews/acceptances? Also when did you send your application
DAT was very average, GPA above average. Probably 12 interview invites (went to 6) and 5 acceptances. I sent it out at the end of June, which is the perfect time to do so.

Did you send your application then take your dat?

Yep. Highly recommend doing that if you haven't taken your DAT by early June. Submitting the application early is the most important thing.
What about taking it for the second time?

Same idea applies. Submit then take the exam.
Yeah but what if you had a bad grade the first time! you don't want them to look at your app and see your bad grade and put it on the side compared to sending them your app with your new high score!

I'm not sure what your point is in the post above, but they will see all attempts and scores. 90 day cooldown period before another attempt at DAT is allowed, I believe.

I know that they will see all attempts. But if I apply before I retake my DAT, I'm worried that they will pre-decide on my application before they see my new hopefully better DAT score.

I believe you can indicate that you will retake the exam???? At worst case scenario it will take a full month for your second scores to be uploaded so mid July submit shouldn't be too bad, if you decide not to submit early. Lets see what others have to say.
