how many threads are you going to make on this topic? Why transfer from a CSU to another CSU? all because of western? Seems like a lot of effort for one dental school, and even after transferring, you run the risk of still not being accepted. Or on the other side of the coin, maybe you won't even want to go there when it comes time to apply. Relax. Focus on surviving undergrad...which it looks like you haven't even started yet. You've got plenty of time to worry later on.

no it's not about western dental school i saw a statistics for the people who attend dental school in the past four years in CSUB and CSULB
each year there is approximately 4 to 6 attend a dental school from CSULB , but in the other hand only 4 people have attend a dental school from CSUB in the past four year that's why i am thinking to transfer after two years to CSULB !!!!

I don't see the point. 2 people from my school are headed to dental school next year, did that statistic scare me?...no.
I wouldn't worry about it. Either way, clearly you have your mind made up on what you want to do, why keep asking the same question hoping for a different response.

Overly paranoid freshman. HaverfoodsDDS got in to UCLA with scholarship. He attended a CSU. Clearly, the name of the school will matter way less than what you achieve in college: grades, extracurriculars, DAT and so forth.
You keep asking questions like " will eating orange be less fattening than eating an apple?
Learn to make your own decisions, make mistakes and grow up. You are essentially asking many questions with no answers. Maybe, there are very small number of pre-dent or pre-health at CSUB, so your question is very subjective.

dis yung habiba tho

...but really I'd be more worried about other things.....

And I thought the user Sexylife was bad....

Improve your English and relax. All you need for dental school is a high gpa/dat plus a sprinkle of ecs. It does not matter if you go to Csub or Csulb.

I attended a csu and that did not hinder my application at all. In fact, I specifically remember at my udm interview that there were a lot of uc applicants, but despite this, I still got in dec 2nd.

It's your overall package that matters, not just the name.

CSU long beach = CSU Bakersfield , just get As and do well on your DAT
