Hey guys.
I've heard that taking online classes may look bad when applying to dental schools. Is that true? Or does it depend?
Last semester I took a psychology and a humanities class online (one to fulfill an elective for my program and one because I'm interested).
I've also heard that it is fine as long as your class doesn't say "online" on a transcript. For me, my classes say HUM450Z.O and BEH.351.O. The O stands for online, unlike a regular class which can say BEH250.A. I've never taken or will not take prerequisites or hardcore bio/science classes online.
I'm also really interested in taking a mental health class for next semester, but it's online. If I do take that, by the time I grauduate, I will have taken 3 online classes throughout my undergraduate years. Would that be fine? Or should I not bother?
