Taking a semester off.

I was just wondering if it would look bad when applying to medical schools if i take a semester off. It is not by choice that i am doing this, i have some personal issues that would give me a legit reason.

You should be ok if you know that you have good reasons and you would have to explain that to most if not all schools. It shouldnt hurt you. Better decision than staying in school and doing bad
