Right now I am attending a university, but I find it rather expensive taking classes at a university over the summer and might want to consider taking classes at a community college. Would it affect my application if I take a class at a community college and transfer the credit over to the university or should I take the class at the university I am attending now?

Class I'm planning on taking is Human Anatomy.

taking one or two classes at a jc/cc shouldn't affect your application.

They shouldn't affect your app, but MAKE SURE that they will transfer before you take them and that they will count towards your pre-reqs. I know a ton of people that have taken summer classes like that to only have them mean nothing because they aren't transferable.

I guess it shouldn't affect much. Matter of fact, i took all my pre-req courses in community college, and i got accepted by several pharmacy schools. My gpa is just okay, and PCAT is just 73, 6 months pharmacy store exp.,Hope that helps.

I'm not worrying about it, especially because the class I'm planning on taking at the local CC is taught by the university professor.

There is also the fact that physiology at the CC has a lab while the class at my university does not.
