Taking classes

hey guys,

so i recently graduated college, and thinking bout going to DO school or possibly PA school

i moved back to LA, and i need to somehow raise my gpa (2.88) for both schools

i was wondering does it matter if i take classes at a Community college here in LA or should i apply to the
UC Berkeley Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Health Professions Program

if i was to attend either ones, i'll end up taking some pre-reqs which i have not taken in undergrad and re-take classes

any thoughts?? or other suggestions??
