Destroyer was pretty easy by the time I got to it. I didn't use it to learn, I used it as a guage to see if I was really prepared. It was actually the reason why I felt I was so prepared going in. It was just good review to get some questions under your belt and test if you actually do know stuff. Just get familiar with as many questions as you can. Ochem in Destroyer is good practice compared to the real thing, Gchem had too many calculations, and I only got 1/3 through Bio (did bio RIGHT before the test) before I ran out of time. If you can go through destroyer and get around 9 out of every 10 questions right, which isn't difficult at all, you have an excellent chance of getting a 30 in the sciences.
This exam is very general. It doesn't test specifics like the NBDE, but tests the overall picture and
leaves very little room for error. I was dissapointed I didn't do as well as I would have hoped going in. I'm killing myself right now knowing that one more question right in OChem or GChem would have bumped my score to a 26 or so in those sections
🙁. The DAT will look like a piece of cake once you get to the NBDE

so i hear. What makes the DAT differ from the NBDE is that the NBDE has a lot more questions, and therefore a lot more room for error, which is a good thing. On the other hand, its a LOT more specific, so I guess it balances out.
