Dear SDN,

I would like to apply for Dental School but I won't have completed Organic I and II until the end of the summer (July 30th). If I take the DAT right after that will it be too late to be competitive for Dental School (assuming my GPA/DAT scores are competitive)?

No it is not too late. You will be fine, just have everything in your AADSAS application completed and ready to go.

I was in the same situation -- took OChem I & II during the summer and DAT on 8/07. As long as you submit early you should still be considered early (I submitted in June).

So I guess "early" is defined by the date you submit the application....even without the DAT scores in.

Also, you dont pay for the AADSAS until you submit your application right?
