Hey,
So I was wondering, I know in general - it's not a good idea to take premed req's at a CC, but would it be fine to take english at a CC? I'm completing the series there during summer, but was wondering if that's an issue.. thanks!

It's generally considerd to be fine to take English and math prerequisites at a CC. If possible, try to take science classes at a 4-year school, but even with this "common wisdom" there are many med schools that are happy to consider you if you have financial or scheduling issues that prevent completion at a more expensive school. The concern of some schools is that many CCs don't have a curriculum sufficiently rigorous to prepare one well for the MCAT and upper-level science classes.

I took two college-level Composition courses while I was in high school (got the CC credit) and a literature class at my 4-year. It has not been brought up so far.
