I live in SoCal, and it's becoming more and more obvious that I need to learn Spanish to be able to volunteer/work broadly here. I want to learn it in a classroom environment (i.e. avoid online learning), and don't want to shell out $1000 per class to learn it at a 4-year. Taking Spanish 1 and 2 at a local CC should be no problem, right? Or will it seem like a GPA booster?
I'd also like to take general psych and abnormal psych at a CC as well. Will it be a big deal if I do? I'm taking/I've taken all my prereqs/other upper div. bio classes at a 4-year school and UC Extension, and would like to save some money if possible. Thanks.
