Does anyone know how medical schools view applicants who have taken the mcat 3 times? Anyone knows how schools deal with this, ie take the average, take the most recent, take the highest from each section, look for improvement, etc? 😕
Any information would be much appreciated.

They view them worse than applicants who took them twice and received the same scores.

Unless you have a dismal score that will give you no chance at all to get in anywhere, then don't retake it again. From what I've heard around these forums, it's only really helpful if you can improve your score by roughly 10 percent. That's pretty challenging to do if you did decent and tried your absolute hardest. If you have nothing to lose, though, it looks better to take the MCAT three times and improve greatly than give up after two tries and still have a real low score that will get you in nowhere.

if u get the highest of your scores - and a good one at that like a balanced 33+ -I don't think it would matter that much

unfortunately i didnt a 33. i did get the highest of my scores this last time. my two previous scores were

27P (vr 7, bs 10, ps 10)
24Q (vr 9, bs 7, ps 8)

and i retook last month and got a 30Q (9 vr, bs 11, ps 10)

im going to apply very broadly to schools...my gpa is 3.75
do i stand no chance?
i really dont want to take the test again.

you should be fine as long as you apply broadly and early

30 should be fine. if you think you can improve, do it and put all your effort into it. 3 times isn't a bad thing necessarily as long as there is improvement.
