Try not to take your practice tests back to back. Space them out... for example in a week do a test on Monday, review your test on Tuesday, review your weaknesses in content stuff, re-read stuff that you're shaky on. (4 day cycle) Then spend the other 3 days of the week doing freestanding problems, or passages in your weak areas.

Then rinse and repeat.

I'm assuming 2 practice tests every weekend = 1 test Saturday and 1 test Sunday? Geez. Whenever I took a practice test, I would just do mindless activities for the rest of the day, then review the test the next day. I think your time might be better spent doing one FL a week. Example: take FL on Saturday. Review it Sunday. Use the week to go over the content areas that you had trouble with, do some separate practice passages, etc. Then take another FL the next Saturday and see how you do. Taking them back to back is killer.

Give at least a one day break between full-lengths. In the 10 days or so before I took the MCAT I took 3 FL's, with a 1 day break between tests and a 3 day break before the real thing. My "breaks" were just normal study days, avoiding doing any actual questions. If you're 5-7 days out from the real thing and get a good score on a relatively recent AAMC practice test, give it a rest and just study your known weak spots until the real thing. You need your confidence through the roof on test day so hard areas (they'll be there) don't knock you completely off your feet.
