Next semester I am taking Organic Chemistry 2. I was wondering how possible is it to take this class and also study efficiently for the DAT? I don't want to risk my grade in OChem 2 either. I want to apply early because I have average stats. Is this worth it to do or should I just apply in 2015?

if you believe in your ability to work hard and on your intelligence, you should be fine! I took orgo 2, physics 2, and my honors thesis class while studying for the DAT which I took the monday after finals week. Got an A in Orgo 2 and did well on the DAT. (however, halfway thru the semester i completely stopped caring about physics 2 and ended up with a B. my bad!). I also applied early this past cycle. You really have to believe in your own ability to do well. If you don't, then don't do it. Good luck! 🙂

July is perfectly fine, as the first batch doesn't get sent out until very late in June. To be what I'd truly consider "early," I'd just try to get everything in before August. If you have a good application all around, though, you can apply quite a bit later than that and still be very successful!
