I'm signed up for the Sept. MCAT and right now I'm still in the process of content review via EK and Kaplan. My question is how helpful is it to take practice tests before you've FULLY reviewed the material as opposed to starting practice tests after you've gone over all the content for mcat review. I'm doing the 10 wk schedule and about every other week I take a practice test, but I find that alot of the passages esp. in PS covers content that I haven't reviewed in almost a year causing me to blank/freak out and result innacurate scores. My foundation isn't weak, I just havent reviewed enough. On the other hand, I understand that taking practice tests are the best way to improve ur score and get a better feel for the test. Opinions please??
