Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone knows what to do if a pre-req is completed after the Academic Update period. The second semester of physics is my last pre-req, and I'm planning to take it in spring 2014. (I'm applying this cycle.)

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but Penn seems to be the only school that states explicitly that all pre-reqs need to be completed by the spring before matriculation.

Do I send transcripts to schools directly (i.e. the one(s) I'm accepted to) when physics is done?
Am I okay as long as I state on my application when I'm going to take physics?

Your wisdom will be much appreciated! 🙂 Good luck to everyone applying!

I don't know about the Penn thing. But I think pretty much all schools require an official transcript sent directly to them before you can start. There was an old thread where some claimed theirs schools didn't require that, but that seems stupid not to. Sort of the most certain way to be sure you completed pre-reqs or other stuff they might require.
